Shergroup Digital is committed to making shergroupdigital.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that an accessible website is a better website for everyone, and we take our responsibilities under federal and Florida law seriously.

1. Our Commitment

We are working to make shergroupdigital.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility and is the standard referenced by United States regulators in connection with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and by the U.S. Access Board under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

We also consider the more recent WCAG 2.2 guidelines as a reference point for ongoing improvement.

2. Measures We Take

Our approach to accessibility includes the following measures:

  • Designing and building the website with accessibility in mind, including keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, scalable text, and descriptive link text.
  • Providing alternative text for informative images, so that screen reader users can understand the content.
  • Structuring pages with proper headings, landmarks, and semantic HTML so assistive technologies can navigate the site.
  • Ensuring that forms on the website — including contact forms, the Digital Referral Score quiz, and the /lets-talk audit booking form — have clear labels, error messages, and instructions.
  • Testing the site on modern browsers and with assistive technologies as part of our release process.
  • Training our team on accessibility principles as part of our content and development workflow.

3. Conformance Status

WCAG 2.1 defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Shergroup Digital aims for partial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partial conformance” means that while the majority of the website meets the standard, some parts of the content may not yet fully conform.

Areas where we know we have work to do include:

  • Legacy content produced before our current accessibility standards were in place may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA in every respect.
  • Third-party content, embeds, and widgets (for example, analytics widgets, social media embeds, and hosted booking tools) may not be fully within our control and may not always meet Level AA.
  • PDF documents and other downloadable materials may not yet be fully accessibility-tagged. We are working to remediate these as part of our content production process.

We are treating accessibility as an ongoing programme of improvement rather than a one-time project, and we review the site and our content workflow on a regular basis.

4. Assessment Approach

Accessibility on shergroupdigital.com is reviewed through a combination of internal self-assessment, automated testing tools (including Lighthouse and comparable accessibility scanners), and manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen reader software. Where we become aware of a specific barrier, we prioritise remediation based on impact and reach.

5. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

shergroupdigital.com is designed to be compatible with current versions of the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. The site is also designed to work with commonly used screen reading software, including NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver. The site may not be fully accessible in browsers older than two major versions behind current.

6. Technical Specifications

Accessibility on shergroupdigital.com relies on the following technologies working in combination with the browser or assistive technologies that are installed on your device: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. Where JavaScript is disabled, core content is still intended to be accessible.

7. Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts, there may be content on shergroupdigital.com that is not yet fully accessible. If you encounter content that is not accessible to you and you would like it in an alternative format — such as plain text, large print, or a telephone briefing — please contact us using the details in section 8 and we will do our best to provide an accessible alternative in a reasonable time frame.

In particular, if you would like any of the following in an alternative format, we are happy to provide it: the Genie Solution brochure, any blog post, any case study, or any element of our pricing or package information.

8. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of shergroupdigital.com. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have a suggestion for improvement, or would like content in an alternative format, please contact us:

10. Ongoing Improvement.

Accessibility on shergroupdigital.com is an ongoing programme. As we add new pages, new features, and new content — including case studies, blog posts, the Digital Referral Score quiz, and the conference landing page — we apply our accessibility standards to each new element. This Accessibility Statement will be reviewed and updated as our site and our practice evolve.
